New Howdy Dashboard A new Howdy Dashboard is being made available and with its initial launch, it provides a cleaner, more modern interface for accessing, navigating and viewing all of the student information available in the existing Banner 8/Compass 8 Advisor Dashboard.
New Search by CRNs and/or Keywords Added In Howdy, two new search criteria have been added to the Browse Classes or Class Schedule Search.
Compass User Page Settings Compass users now have the ability to configure and save filter, column, and pagination (records per page) settings.

Compass Update September 17, 2019 Student Profile Degree Progress Enhancements At the end of spring 2019, a new Degree Progress panel that included a Time to Degree chart was launched in the Student Profile in Howdy. A series of new charts have now been added to the Degree Progress panel providing further insights into the status and trends for students working toward their degrees.

Registration Worksheet Integration with Undergraduate Degree Planner The Registration Worksheet tool enables students to create their schedules in advance of their registration time.
Compass Update May 6, 2019 A new Degree Progress panel is now available for advisors in the Student Profile within Howdy. A Time to Degree graph shows the number of hours that apply to the student’s degree (both completed and in-progress registered hours). A Howdy degree evaluation is run to determine the hours that apply to the degree.

Filter Enhancement in Compass (Banner 9) The May 19 upgrade to Compass (Banner 9) includes enhancements to the search/filter feature.
Compass Banner 9 is Now Available Banner 9 is the new version of Compass. Banner 9 has the same pages and similar functionality as the current Banner 8 version of Compass, but it is web-based and does not require Java to be installed on your computer.
