Compass form replaces ONPAR

Published: October 21, 2011

The ONPAR system, which has been used to post tuition and/or fee contract payments to a student’s account, is being replaced by the Tuition Waiver and Payments (TWAPMTS) form in Compass. In addition to contract payments, TWAPMTS will also enable departments to post payments using exemptions.

The form to request TWAPMTS access is now available in Howdy on the Employee tab in the Compass User Training channel under the Compass Forms link. The TWAPMTS Update Access form should be signed by the user, their Assistant Business Dean, and the Primary Authorizing Agent (PAA) for their department or college.

The TWAPMTS Access form should be sent to eis-security@tamu.edu by the PAA no later than October 28, 2011 in order to participate in TWAPMTS classroom training scheduled for November 7-10, 2011. Student Business Services has notified users with instructions on how to sign up for the training.

Compass access is a requirement for the TWAPMTS form. FERPA training in TRAINTRAQ and Compass Navigation training must be completed for Compass access. The Compass Navigation training can be taken either in class or online from Enterprise Information Systems (EIS). Compass access must be obtained by October 31 to participate in the TWAPMTS classroom training.

The TWAPMTS form will be available to authorized users in Compass on Thursday, December 1, 2011.
