In an effort to streamline the Compass training process, EIS is currently offering a partial online version of the Introductory Compass Navigation class. The advantage of this class is that after taking the online portion of the class, classroom training is reduced from three hours to one. After the online training is completed, you will need to register for the one-hour classroom training at the Division of Finance employee training site in order to complete the process. The next pilot class is scheduled for December 7 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The results of pilot program will determine if the online version is offered in the future.
