The Enterprise Information Systems implementation of the new Compass student information system at Texas A&M University continues to make progress. Some major milestones include:

| Sept. 2008 | Admissions module launched |
| May 2008 | Admissions staff began Compass training |
| March 2008 | Howdy web portal launched |
| July 2007 | Implementation of web portal began |
| March 2007 | Implementation of Compass configurations began |
